SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
In 2017 we launched Kick Start, our Supplier Development Programme, to give small and medium Irish food and drink businesses an opportunity to showcase their products in our stores across the country. In 2018 the programme will be extended to Nothern Ireland. Each of our Kick Start suppliers will have access to a series of comprehensive seminars, led by a team of experts from Lidl.

We are proud to have been the rst retailer in Northern Ireland
to offer a range of products sold under the Fairtrade Cocoa Programme standard. This enables small scale cocoa farmers to bene t by selling more of their cocoa on Fairtrade terms. Farmers earn a fair price for their cocoa and
receive a Fairtrade Premium to support democratically agreed local community programmes.
