Abbey Farm Foods, a family run business based in the heart of the midlands, have been supplying handcrafted preserves and jams to Lidl since 2013. Much of the fruit used in the manufacturing of these jams is grown on the Gee family farm, managed by son Clive, in Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.

In Abbey Farm Foods, each of the preserves are traditionally made in small batches, by hand, using only premium quality fruit and sugar, giving them their unique homemade taste and flavour. Since they began working with Lidl, Abbey Farm Foods have successfully reached a BRC Grade AA accreditation and are placing their focus firmly on sustainable production, having become members of the Origin Green sustainable development programme.
