Liffey Meats have been supplying both frozen and fresh beef to Lidl since 2005 and now also supply to many stores across Europe within the wider Lidl group.

Francis Mallon and his team realise that sustainable production is important in growing and developing their business and since becoming verified members of Origin Green, Liffey Meats have reached some major sustainability milestones – 70% of their feed comes from various crops grown on the farm, water usage is reducing by 10% year on year and they are now in the process of building a windmill on site in Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan that will generate 50% of the electricity used to power their plant.
